Description

All position welding of 18% Cr â€“ 12% Ni â€“ 21â„2% Mo stainless steel producing weld deposits with a carbon content of 0.04 maximum.
When this electrode produces a weld deposit of 2 FN maximum, it can be used for welding 304 and 316 stainless steels in cryogenic service at temperatures down to -452 degrees F.
Excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures against â€œpittingâ€ that may be caused by sulfuric, phosphoric and acetic acids.
Can be used for welding ferritic-austenitic stainless steel such as 329, 405, 410, and 430 or titanium/niobium stabilized grades such as 316Ti in certain applications where the service temperature is below 750 degrees F.
Common applications involve those industries manufacturing rayon, dye, paper, ink, rubber, bleach, photographic chemicals; also used for building up the sealing faces of valves and fittings for acid, gas, water, and steam equipment.
