Description

• Perfect wire to use on difficult to weld steels such as manganese steel, air-hardening steels, armor steels, spring steels, tool and die steels, rail steel and aircraft steel • Two-phase weld deposit with substantial amounts of ferrite in an austenitic matrix makes it highly resistant to weld metal cracking or fissures • Excellent for welding dissimilar metals, especially if one of them is a stainless steel of high nickel content • Weld deposits are ductile, with good root penetration and the highest tensile strength of standard stainless steel wires • Excellent when used as a wear-resistant build-up or buffer layer in hardfacing applications
