Description

Most commonly used for all-position welding of 19% Chromium â€“ 9% Nickel austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 301, 302, 304, and steel castings of similar composition such as rust-proof steels.
Easy strike and restriking of the arc, smooth arc action, low spatter and a self-peeling slag.
Weld deposits are x-ray quality with physical properties and corrosion resistance that meets or exceeds that of the base metal.
Common applications involve stainless steel fabrication or repairs in dairy, food or restaurant equipment, chemical tanks or as a build-up for sealing faces of valves and fittings for acid, gas, water and steam
