Tier5 Labs
Tier 5 Labs was started in 2013 to provide the independent gas distributor with an independent option as the source of hard to produce and source materials.
Tier 5’s mission is to maintain an independent manufacturing and distribution network for critical gas standards and specialty gases to supply independent gas distributors. We are a wholesale only specialty gas producer and does not market or sell its products directly to the end user market.
Tier 5 is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 17034:2016 accredited facility and is committed to supporting our customers with a quality product and technical service that meets and exceeds their expectations.
Tier 5’s central location in the Midwest, coupled with a developing transportation infrastructure perfectly position Tier 5 to rapidly and inexpensively distribute our products throughout the country and beyond – regardless if its a single cylinder or a truckload.
Mixture Grades

Certified Standard – unless specified in the purchase order, Certified Mixture concentrations are reported utilizing the gravimetric result when the cylinder(s) are filled. Typically are not analyzed with other laboratory equipment unless they have a reactive constituent or it is requested at the time of order.

Primary Standard – Mixture is blended gravimetrically and analyzed utilizing appropriate methods for the gas constituents.

EPA Protocol – Mixture is blended and results are reported per EPA 600/R-12/531.

ISO 17025 – Mixture blend is analyzed and reported per 17025 guidelines and is NIST traceable

Tier 5 accepts customer owned cylinders and will store a limited quantity, inventory, and prepare the interior cylinder wall prior to fill.

Tier 5 Specialty Gas offers cylinder testing (hydrostatic or UE depending upon application / volume) and aesthetic services as requested.
